One more piece for the day

One more piece

The flying roof

Here comes the flying roof. I know is this a great way to build a roof or what. Dad took the roof off of a house he was remodeling. Now he is putting it on our new garage. We like to recycle around our house.

We got walls

We got walls on our garage today.

Sophie is gone

Sophie is no longer with us. She was hit by a car last night. Everyone will miss her especially her best buddy Betsy.

A new slab

Hurray! A fancy new concrete slab. Wow look our new awesome garage slab. Soon we will have walls and a roof. OK, technically we already have the roof it is just laying out in our yard but you know what I mean.

Still getting ready

Still getting ready to pour concrete.

My dog is wearing lipstick

My dog is wearing lipstick. Well not really but it sure does look like it. The dogs have been getting on the road lately. She was sniffing the road so hard she has rubbed the skin off. I guess she needs to learn to stay off the road.

Concrete

They got concrete poured into the trench. Hopefully we will have a slab sometime this week.

More Trench

Dane asked for a live web cam. Since I don't have one of those I will just post lots of pictures. Stay tuned to watch the progression.

The first trench

Here is the first trench. Ran into the old well house.

Halloween

The boys had a great time Trick-or-Treating. Max and Dakota just loved their costumes. Max won 3rd prize at the Woodburn costume contest. He plans to use his winnings ($2) at the next weeks basketball concession stand. Oliver did not like wearing his pirate hat and hair. Every time he got back in the van he took it off. I tried to talk to Oliver earlier in the day and explain to him about trick-or-treating. He didn't believe me when I told him people would give him candy. He would tell me with great surprise every time we went to a new house, "Mom I got more candy."

Last Soccer Game

The last soccer game of the year was a muddy mess. Dakota's team lost. Max's team won and he scored two goals. They both got trophies and were excited to display them.

Max's Kindergarten Halloween party

Max had a Halloween party at school. He decided to be Superman because you are not allowed to be anything scary at school. The kindergartners had a great time at the party.
